A Letter from the
Father I write this letter to you, because I am aware of the anguish and self doubt you feel in your heart. I thought it important to ease your burden, and to reassure you of My never ending love and care for you. My heart aches when I see you discouraged over failed attempts to live the perfect life. I know your doubts in those moments, when sin overwhelms you. You ask yourself, "Can anything good possibly live within me?" I feel your inward struggle to do what is right, and the pain that comes when these efforts fall short of the mark. I don't want you to be disheartened, living in constant fear of My rejection in response to your sins. Don't you realize that I know your heart? You're My child and I know that inwardly you desire to be free from sin, but the flesh is weak. Until you come home, sin will be a part of your life, but the Good News is that through the sacrifice of My Son, for all eternity, forgiveness is part of Mine. One day I will rescue your soul from its body of sin and death. Hold steadfast in faith, you are now and forever, secure in the Spirit and will at the proper time be made perfect in the flesh. Just as My Son was resurrected immortal and incorruptible, for you the same will be true. Pursue Godliness by allowing My Spirit to guide your steps. Knowing that by doing so you are being fashioned into the likeness of My Son. When times of trial come, you can always turn to Me in whose presence peace, love, and security are to be found for all who seek My face in faith. You have My assurance that I love and care for those that love Me and that I will bless your life making all things work for your ultimate benefit. Your calling to salvation wasn't an accident and I didn't save you because you were good enough. I've loved you from eternity past and I've predestined you to be conformed to the likeness of my Son. I, the Lord your God, promise that all those I've predestined, will be called, and all those I call, will be justified, and all those I justify will someday be glorified in Heaven. So what is there to fear? Is there anyone to condemn you? I sent My Son to be the perfect sacrificial lamb, to bear the sting of death for those who trust in Him and He fulfilled His task perfectly. This wasn't just an act of obedience on His part. His actions visibly demonstrated His love. He demonstrated His love for YOU! I won't allow His gift and sacrifice to be wasted but will sustain your faith in times of tribulation. I won't allow anything or anyone to break our union.  |
